every opportunity afforded to her including working in the Community Advocacy Policy Clinic researching housing options for persons with serious mental illness and working in the Community Advocacy Litigation Clinic representing clients seeking protective orders. She also participated as a two- time member on the American Assocation for Justice traveling moot trial team.
Lashandra received several honors while at the University of Tulsa College of Law including the Oklahoma Bar Association Litigation Award and being one of 10 students to receive the Order of the Barrister.
Lashandra currently resides in Tulsa with her husband, 4 children and 2 dogs. She is an active member of Transformation Church. Lashandra is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
As an attorney, Lashandra's goal is to aid in combatting systemic injustices and to advocate for those who have been silenced by injustice.

Lashandra Peoples-Johnson is one of the founding members of Johnson | Cephas Law, PLLC. Originally from Dallas, Texas, she moved to Tulsa in 2004 to attend college at the University of Tulsa. In 2008, Lashandra received her Bachelors degree from the Collins College of Business where she double majored in Business Law Management and Management Information Systems. She received her Masters degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University.
Before attending law school, Lashandra worked for 8 years at ConocoPhillips/ Phillips 66 in the Information Technology Department and held several positions including Lead Information Privacy Expert.
In May 2019, Lashandra received her Juris Doctor from The University of Tulsa College of Law (TU Law) with honors where she was the President of the Student Bar Association, Vice President of the Black Law Student Association and Vice President of the Public Interest Board.
